KNX Certification Basic Course International Training Programme — Organised by KNX Association

This is an officially licensed and certified KNX training programme authorised by KNX Association. The course provides the complete foundational knowledge and practical skills required for engineers and technicians to confidently design, implement, and programme systems to international KNX standards.

Participants who complete the course and pass the assessment will be awarded the internationally recognised KNX Partner certificate, issued by KNX Association (Belgium) — recognised in more than 190 countries and valid throughout a professional's technical career.

Course Content & Delivery Format

The programme comprises 30 hours of training, delivered through a flexible combination of two formats:

• Online Theory: 12 hours — evening sessions from 19:00 to 21:30

• Face-to-Face Lab Practice: 15 hours — hands-on project design and programming on a live KNX system

• International Certification Examination (in person): 3 hours

The entire programme is delivered by a KNX Certified Tutor — a trainer officially certified by KNX Association with extensive real-world project implementation experience.

Materials & Software

• Course Materials: KNX Basic Documentation — published by KNX Association

• Practice Software: ETS6 (version 6.4.1)

Who Should Attend

Engineers and technicians working in electrical, automation, smart building, M&E, lighting, construction, IT, and architecture.

No prior KNX knowledge is required.
